David R. Bagby
David R. Bagby is a principal partner and investment manager of Trinity Capital Management, LLC. David has over 30 years of experience in the fields of investment management and investment research. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Prior to joining Trinity Capital Management LLC, he served as an Executive Vice President of UMB Investment Advisors. David co-managed the UMB Scout Small Cap mutual fund (UMHBX) and its predecessor fund, UMB Scout Regional Stock fund from April 2000 through September 2006. Previously, he was employed with Financial Counselors, Inc., Herbert R. Smith, Inc. and was President of Performance Capital. David earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Princeton University and his Masters of Business Administration at the University of Kansas. Additionally, David has earned the Solon E. Summerfield Graduate Scholar Award and the Wall Street Journal Student Achievement Award. He is associated with the Beta Gamma Sigma National Honorary Business Fraternity, the Princeton Club of Kansas City Schools Committee and the Ronald McDonald House. He and his wife, Susan, live in Mission Hills, Kansas.
